with the help of a catgirl and her mom the scions have successfully figured out the solution to their problems: running full-force directly into a laser wall as fast as they can. an excellent plan, but there's also a whole evil sky fortress to deal with after that, which is very scary. thankfully our heroes love nothing more than to charge headlong directly into danger without thinking (or, at least, yisu does anyway. aurelius might have some concerns but that's fine)
