are AVALANCHE still (justifiably!) ecoterrorists or have they sanded off that particular rough edge in the name of corporate mass market palatability as well?
(meanwhile, ever crisis is more or less a 1:1 remake of the original FF7 and so is basically the exact dialogue from the original game with a small localization touch-up, if you're curious)

I think the genuine answer is that square wants to put a lot of compliation of ff7 lore into FF7 Remake 2 but no one has been able to buy or play any of those games in 20 years and this was the most cynical way they could remake all of them
