The top 25 games thing looked fun so I thought I'd join in! They're not in any particular order other than Umihara Kawase and Shiren the Wanderer being at the top, and half of the games on this list are interchangeable with any of their sequels.

Turns out I really like action games! I'm sure I've forgotten a bunch of other games that should be on here, but I like these 25 games a lot so it's fine.

The full list

  1. Umihara Kawase (or any other game in the series)
  2. Shiren the Wanderer 5+ (or any other game in the series)
  3. Kuru Kuru Kururin (or any other game in the series)
  4. Mr. Driller (or any other game in the series)
  5. Super Monkey Ball
  6. Marvel vs. Capcom 2
  7. La-Mulana
  8. Super Bomberman 2 (or any other game in the series)

  11. Immaterial and Missing Power
  12. F-Zero GX
  13. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 (or any other game in the series)
  14. Balloon Fight (or any other game in the series)
  15. Point Blank (or any other game in the series)
  16. Pilotwings 64
  17. Blast Corps

I have a special place in my heart for Mr Driller, as I re-implemented it in Java one summer as something to do. They'd totally locked down the school computers, but java.exe could do anything if you were determined enough.
