I finished the game! For something I rushed out it's not too bad, but that fact doesn't really improve the user experience. It was nice to just make a game, code it horribly, and not have to think about maintaining it!

Nice satisfying bounces. I imagine the trails were essential to help the player understand the trajectories? I was gonna post my high scores for lolz but cohost doesn't let me use images in comments! I didn't try that hard anyway. I guess you have to try and max out the bounces to get the highest score
Thanks for playing! Yeah, the more bounces you do the more points you get. There's also a combo multiplier if stuff goes in the basket within 1 second, although you're bottlenecked by the speed stuff comes out.
The trails should really have stuck around after you pause like Mario Maker but all I had time to do was a particle trail - which also looks wildly different in the WebGL player for some β¨mysteryβ¨ reason!
This is a nice and fun little game!!! Pretty delightful to check each fail apple's path and going "Okay now one here and then here and then here and oh no this isn't working okay okay maybe like this" until it all works!!!
Also EVER ON AND ON I CONTINUE CIRCLING WITH NOTHING BUT MY HATE AND THE CAROUSEL OF AGONY thank you for making this game!!!!!

Hehe, kinda feel sorry for the Ludum Dare jammers playing the last stage and wondering why it's black and white now.
