The Ducky's Delivery Service tutorial track in the previous post is one of my favorite tracks in the game, but the Oak Town track is my other favorite! I somehow never got sick of it, even when I had to listen to it a billion times while editing the game's trailer...

finished another ludum dare with my usual jam buddies!!! this one's coded by me with art by npckc and music by @hvb and @DonutShoes!!

you play as a sardine and you gotta bend into the right shape to fit on the train before it leaves. there's 4 levels + some bonus modes after you clear the story (it's a very short story!!!)

um, we made this with ren'py because i only know one engine... it really has no business being made with ren'py..... sorry for my gamedev crimes, hope you enjoy playing!!

this is every element mocked up! taking a step back and squinting i think the gems are overdetailed and theme could be a bit more uniform... but overall i'm happy. tomorrow i'll try popping it in editor and then finding out what obvious things i missed.

also of concern is a lot of feedback is punch scales and a "boil shader" i made, which don't work on pixel art, but i think i have some plans. and those plans are dotween.dolocaljump.
