no man's sky releases in a pretty poor state, everyone ignores the fact that hello games' offices flooded and they had to remake the entire game inside a year, I get fucking death threats for pointing this out. starfield releases without DLSS, everyone loses their fucking minds and start making conspiracy theories about how AMD is evil and trying to sabotage Nvidia, I point out the exact opposite has been true for years and the game released on consoles that don't even have Nvidia hardware, I get death threats again
this time I don't even bother actually defending anyone, I just say "yeah the game's fun, didn't know the developers had a history with generative models so watch out there" and I still get thrown out of social circles for my trouble
