I live in Portland and sometimes I make video games if I can find somebody who will pay me to do it.

I got a PS5 for Christmas and it came with Spider-Man 2, so I've been playing that. It's okay. I'm not a Marvel fan so I probably wouldn't have bought it on my own, but it's been keeping me entertained. I'm not really enjoying the combat, though -- I have a hard time keeping track of which button combinations do what and when I should be using them, and you have to manage that for two different characters. And it feels like there's a long delay between pressing the buttons and the move actually happening, because you have to wait for whatever animation is currently playing to finish.

There's also just too much of it (the combat). Every fight feels like it should be at least 1/3 shorter. And this is after setting the difficulty to the minimum, which makes you unable to die. If I weren't doing that, there's definitely no way I'd finish the game. Maybe I'm just old and bad at games now, but I don't get any satisfaction out of retrying the same fight over and over again. I don't have that kind of patience anymore.

Apart from that, though, I'm having a pretty good time exploring the city and finding collectibles and stuff. And I appreciate that they gave me the option to just not die so I can see the whole game despite being bad at it.

Also, Astro's Playroom is pretty fun.
