I started my new Fire Emblem playthrough on Hard difficulty because I remember thinking it was really easy on Normal the first time through. It was going okay on Hard; I wasn't losing but I was having to think about what I was doing. But then earlier today I was feeling lazy and didn't really want to deal with it, so I bumped it down to Normal. And... it's too easy. But for some reason they have it so once you lower the difficulty, you can't put it back up, so that kinda sucks. I prefer when games let you change the difficulty as much as you want at any time. I got nothin' to prove.
Oh well. Maybe in another couple of years I'll start another playthrough with the third house and leave it on Hard all the way through. But actually probably the same thing will happen.
