• they/them

I live in Portland and sometimes I make video games if I can find somebody who will pay me to do it.

The road didn't work, even after I replaced the stairs at the entrance with a ramp. The next caravan still said the depot was inaccessible. They did show up on the other side of the map from where I built the road... do I need to account for that? How am I supposed to know where people will arrive from? If the road isn't the problem, maybe the problem is inside the fortress, but the depot is right near the entrance and they should have enough room to get to it. I'm at a loss.

That dwarven child is continuing to throw tantrums. This time she destroyed a still. It's getting a bit irritating. I've considered setting up a justice system so she can get put in jail, but that doesn't seem like a great solution. I don't know what else I can do to prevent tantrums other than trying to make them happy by giving them a really nice bedroom or something.

Oh yeah -- I've read in a few places on the wiki that you should put artifacts out for dwarves to admire to give them happy thoughts. But whenever I leave artifacts out, they get stolen. So what am I supposed to do.

caravans from each of the civilizations will come from the side of the map their civ is from, relative to you. So if the nearest mountainhome is to the northeast, your dwarven caravan will come from the top right corner of the map, and if the nearest human kingdom is to the west, they’ll come from the left side of the map
