I wanna play more Pikmin so much that I'm tempted to buy the Switch port of one of the old games while I wait for the new one to come out. But that would be financially irresponsible given that I still own the originals (even though I don't have a way to hook up a Gamecube to my TV). I guess that could be a reason to try to get Dolphin working. I've only tried that once before and the performance was not acceptable, but that was on a worse computer than what I have now, so maybe it's worth giving it another go.
