I always think I'll become an Etrian Odyssey person and then it doesn't take. I really liked Persona Q, though.
I live in Portland and sometimes I make video games if I can find somebody who will pay me to do it.
I finished all the shrines in Zelda and now I'm playing Etrian Odyssey HD and having a decent time so far. I'm playing on the "basic" difficulty, because I'm a basic bitch. Apparently this is easier than the original DS difficulty, and I can kinda tell, but it also seems kinda uneven; I'm beating these wolf F.O.E.s easily, but having trouble with the boss. I think I'll get it next time though (last time I actually did beat the boss but then got killed by other wolves that intruded into the fight). I wish the maps were a little more generous with shortcuts; it's getting kind of tedious running through the same five floors over and over again, but I guess that's just how these games go.
My party is Joker (landsknecht), Rusty (protector), Yukari (survivalist), Takemi (medic), and Nerdling (alchemist). Some of them are named after Persona characters because for some reason you can use a character portrait of the Persona 5 protagonist (and also Ringo from Soul Hackers 2), so I sort of went with that theme but didn't really commit to the bit. I just named Rusty and Nerdling based on their looks.
