To be honest, I can't really say that I did my besht this week.

I live in Portland and sometimes I make video games if I can find somebody who will pay me to do it.
I finished Spider-Man 2, so now I'm playing Alan Wake 2. I'm having a pretty good time with it, although I have the same problem that I had with the first one, that it stresses me out because I always feel like I don't have enough batteries (or sometimes ammo). Obviously that's intentional because it's basically a survival horror game. But I kinda wish I could just play the adventure gamey parts and skip the parts where I have to fight stuff.
Occasionally I get stuck and look up a guide, and it always reveals that there are all kinds of hidden collectibles and stuff that I'm missing. But I don't really enjoy following a guide and having it just tell me exactly where to go and what to do, so I guess I'm just going to miss a bunch of stuff, which is kind of unfortunate because a lot of that stuff would get me upgrades that would make the combat parts easier. I suppose I just need to explore more thoroughly.
