Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel
The game was also on Mega Drive with some slight variations. The Mega Drive is more zoomed out, which is probably the better change, but the SNES had fog effects. The sequel to the second example, Aero, was actually made in tandem with this platformer. That's how similar the two are. Worse yet for Zero, the latter received all the promotion, becoming Sunsoft's mascot. Hell, the bat appears in the logo for this game! Never has a game been this brutally sidelined 💀
To be fair, the kamikaze theme hasn't aged very well.

All I know about this game is it's slightly edgy ad.
Maybe edgy isn't quite right. Either way they tired a little too hard to be cool. But it was the style at the time, it came with the territory. The cheesey 90's mascot platformer territory.
Also, hey Aero. We were just talking about you.
