Louis C.K.: Sorry Review

In case you needed to know: It takes 27 minutes to get to the inevitable transphobia.

Luckily, most of the old-man-out-of-touch moments are brief. Hell, a lot of the special centers on being on the way out. Does it make it better? Slightly. Self-awareness is a good thing, when you're hellbent on talking out of your depth. The spark of making the uncomfortable seem comfortable is still there, but the bits are often drawn out; dragging Louis to what other intrusive thought he must say, like slurs.

It is possible to consistently laugh at some of the grotesque displays of society, but by the end that laughter becomes more nervous, as the anticipation builds to what other misguided thing will come out of his mouth. Louis still has the spirit, but the rot of his famous friends is clearly setting in. Your friends who refuse to grow up will love this one.
