These 5 turned out really really nice! This is Ochre from Seattle Pottery Supply on Sea Mix clay with a black underglaze that I didn't write the name of.
I also got 2 of my 4 white/stormy night mugs, and the base for the white/stormy night vessel, but I'll wait until I get the remaining pieces before posting.
The strategy of very quickly dipping the handles worked great! I definitely could have used a thicker coat of glaze on the handles themselves, but the thin layer of Ochre on the body of each piece fired as a thin translucent-black shiny layer on the body, and i think it looks really nice in real life.
