this song was a frequent bop as i drove around miami in the early 2010s. just so catchy. if you've never listened to kuti, his stuff is extremely worth your time (as is most 70s-80s afrobeat--Analog Africa and Awesome Tapes From Africa are really good reissue labels that have each done several afrobeat compilations if you like this stuff. T.P. Orchestre Poly-Rythmo, from Benin, is a great classic afrobeat band to start with too)
