got this idea in my head that the steam deck could be used for bed-based photo editing, because its just a big linux machine, and currently (beer + sake + sleepy) i am deeply, deeply rotating it in my mind

#plus with the dock rigged up it could do the scanning too #and I bet KDE does better with samba than gnome does

going to get myself adopted by the vuescan guy so it can be father & son & son and I can fix the goddamn UI

#and delete the ai crop shit. i dont need that and it sucks anyway

the way vuescan works is just. fascinating.

#this is how I get the scanner to start scanning as soon as I put the film carrier in #im always trying to think about how you land yourself in these gui decisions
