I've been leaving food out for the local birds recently. Magpies, rosellas, lorikeets, honeyeaters, etc. It's a mix of various things, all healthy. Over the past couple days one of the visitors has extremely carefully and thoroughly taken every single kernel of corn and thrown it out of the dish. They're on the ground now.
