It seems like many people, across all levels of gamedev, aren't aware that if you want to ship a Unity game on certain platforms or subscription services you simply do not have the choice of not updating. The platform integration plugins require the latest version of Unity and you either update your game or break your contract and delist. The platforms do not give a shit and nor does Unity.

So it is still bad. It is still really bad.

And you're still paying per install.
