is it normal for GPs to charge you huge fees for minute-long telehealth consults (no medicare rebate?) if you haven’t visited im person recently, or am I just stuck with an absolute pack of bastards who are more than happy to exploit the bereaved
it literally does not make sense to me. feels like some kind of racket
They've added a fee, but it shouldn't be huge. When we book for telehealth, the app says it's a $60-something fee, but that it's covered by medicare rebates and costs us nothing, so. Not sure what's going on there. Might be a pack of bastards.
i knew u had to see a GP in person within the last year but i didnt realise it was to do with rebate stuff i just thought it was Compulsory
