It's pretty mid here in general compared to other places, but my situation is probably as bad as it gets in urban areas. This property is both still on the oldest, shittiest connection style they have available (fibre to the node) and is also further away from a node (~1.5km) than is technically allowed in the FTTN spec. I'm meant to be finally getting a proper fibre connection upgrade next year, but I've been waiting for that for roughly fifteen years so my excitement has somewhat waned.
