I'm reposting these because 1. people here like long-form and 2. I'm finishing the series this month and dropping eight more blogs on all y'all. I had a lot of fun doing this but also never want to do it again, at least not track-by-track. But it was important to do it this time. Given that a lot of the artists I'm inspired by didn't really lay out detailed information for how they made music--it's in the music itself and a lot of research--I thought I'd try and make it easier for anyone who was interested.
