Plenty of folks have shared my free game engines/tools post— and several have re-cohosted with additional suggestions. It means a lot to me that folks have found it useful/want to help make it more useful, it honestly kind of warms my heart.

Lots of folks are talking up bluesky as the new thing to jump to as the bird sites descends further into whatever hell dimension Elon summoned, and I may end up there to grab my name, who knows. But I’m really glad I picked this one in the original cohost/hive/mastodon uh, drive? A few months ago. I’ve had nothing but good interactions here, I’ve learned a TON about pixel art and some other game dev resources, and this latest post just straight up makes me feel good and like I’m on the right track with some of the directions I’m taking Game Developer in. Sincerely, thank you.

Thanks for starting that conversation! Been feeling good about the interactions on here too. Very thankful for the community they’ve been able to cultivate so far. (And I love seeing your progress with pixel art. You’re doing great!!)
