i've been using a Pure Over for my coffee for... about three months now, and I have Thoughtstm which I will probably eventually write up, but one minor tidbit which is not at all a fair product critique is that now that I'm using a pourover device that requires less hands-on nature in the brewing process, i forget that i am making coffee way more often and i keep catching myself with a half-made cup of coffee far more often that i ever did with paper filters

in my experience it's... easier than i expected, but certainly a bit more to think about than with paper filters.

After brewing a cup, I just sit the pureover in the sink to cool, then in an hour or so when it's cooled off and the coffee is more... solidified, it's pretty easy to whack it into the compost, then spray out whatever straggling bits with a faucet.

All in all it takes maybe three minutes max, and that's assuming i had a speck of coffee in the "filter" that i have to get out with a brush. But then you're done, and no need to worry about paper filters, which I think is a good tradeoff.
