hands down it's the sony pvm-1390. flawless aesthetics, it's the perfect size, it looks good with (and is meant to be used with) 8-bit computers so it has TTL RGB inputs, fantastic tube, simple controls, and it's not a studio PVM. like, as well as they perform, the studio PVMs that everyone collects are impractical and awkward in so many ways. this one has the inputs on the side, where you can actually get to them, and it has a built in tilt so you can actually see it without having to prop it up on a stack of books. etc
I've actually never seen that specific pairing! this monitor shows up in tons of jdm computer ads, I can't even find the one I really like right now but if I do I'll post it later. Basically the 1390 does not miss, you can put it next to anything, fuck, put it next to a Apple iic It still looks the part.
