I'm absolutely fascinated by key art when it comes to games - I love the idea that a game's entire feeling and atmosphere can swell up from a single picture.
Sometimes I wonder how games would have turned out if the key art was just slightly different - something like a sunset instead of a blue sky. I can imagine the game's entire soundtrack and character designs have a different mood just from that single change.
