It's been a while since I talked about my gamedev project, huh.

Well. I looked over it again earlier this week. There's bugs that should be simple to fix, but there's also much larger bugs that I just don't think I'll ever be mentally prepared to take on. Especially since they might be engine-level. I'm stuck with GameMaker Studio 1, so there's no chance of getting something like that fixed.

And so, my plan is to release a final build of the game, one that has everything that I know for sure (mostly) works. That basically amounts to versus mode and all the story scenes, with or without matches in between against the one AI I'm still pretty sure is stable. Hopefully, I can get that all finished and released by year's end.

It's been a learning experience in many ways, and it's a shame that some of the things I had planned won't be visible or accessible, but I think it's time to put the project to bed.

I've put it off long enough.
