the sound of shaking a jar full of marbles, then: oh that's on the way to SFO. I've been defaulting to Mineta for so long I'd forgotten...
It's basically right next to SFO, yeah. It's literally one street over from a hotel that's pretty popular for business conventions next to SFO, and can be seen from the freeway, so it's fairly prominent.
My apologies. If there were a way for me to get one to you, I certainly would.
And if it makes you feel any better, things ain't exactly glamorous or lovely around here these days.
No, it's pretty minor. :) but I did enjoy an It's-It once in a while.
I did actually give this some thought recently: does the bay area really hold anything for me at this point, besides extreme familiarity, besides being my home, which I couldn't find in some similar place? And in light of the fact that most of my favorite restaurants have closed, my supermarket closed, my favorite record store is long dead, and almost everyone I knew now lives elsewhere and the bohemian character of the place has slowly leaked out... yeah.
I feel you on that one, honestly. The only reason I'm really here is the job - I suppose family that's (relatively, by US standards) nearby. I used to have friends in the area, and they all fled, so now it's basically just me and the rut I'm in.
That being said, It's-Its are tasty, and they are a fun thing to enjoy when you can.
If the Ice Cream industry doesn't work out, they got a solid name for a tech support company.
