spent like 30 minutes immersed in all the Molyneux going around today and caught wind of his very first, failed game from 1984, The Entrepreneur for BBC Micro. claims only two copies ever sold.
this was the ad he took out to promote it in the May 1984 issue of Acorn User (scan is from stardot.org.uk forums). i guess he was always...himself, huh. or already was by then.
the stardot forums say the game remains lost. it seems pretty easy to get in touch with Molyneux, so if one wanted to preserve it, asking him directly if he has a backup would be a low lift.

The other day my sister wanted a patch for a girl guide leader friend of hers and I didn't have a lot of time so I sublimated one and it had a rough ass zigzag trim that I was like, I'm sorry!! It's kinda rough!! The white was sticking outta the green trim in spots it wasn't great!! And the feedback I got was that it was the most professional thing the other ladies had ever seen. Something I felt embarassed giving to my sister was the most impressive gift she's ever given.
You gotta like.
Get a reality check sometime dude.
Talk to normal ass people.
if you don't know the original, i'm sorry. the first part (not pictured because google is shit) is a picture of an artist making a cake and being all disappointed that it's not as grandiose as the one next to it. then this guy (pictured: a normal ass person) shows up.
