It’s wild how much Twitter and other sites have corrupted the way I think about basic interactions with social media. “Should I like this post? Do other people want to see it? Without context will it seem weird that I liked it?” I need to retrain myself to just like the post already, literally nobody other than me and the poster will ever know, it’s not algorithmic fodder or permanently displayed on my profile, it’s just me telling the poster “hey this was neat 👍”
