to clarify if a diagnosis (self or professional) allows u access to a community, vocabulary to communicate ur experiences or care for ur suffering then thats real and awesome and im happy for u. i simply think A) its wildly invasive and inappropriate to speak to me this way without my consent, B) the DSM isnt based on valid science and C) i dont believe a diagnosis should be necessary to obtain any of those things!
