earlier i sat down at my posting station and looked at a post and thought "damn i wish i could copy part of that tag so i could search for it, but the browser is just going to think i'm trying to drag it. in a just world i'd be able to hold Alt and drag over stuff and have it ignore the draggability and just let me select the text" so then i tried that and it worked

it turns out that holding Alt (apparently) disables all, or virtually all, click events. what the fuck. how did i never discover this

this is the first time i've ever been on the "wait, ynz ain known this?" team about computer things and it's really weird!!! Ynz rly ain known this?! Wait till you try drag clicking! I use alt non-click when aiming for the scrollbar, because my tablet is old and shitty, it has trouble on the very edge there, and scrollbars are immune to the alt non-click.

Holding in the alt key will stop certian mouse clicks from working, so it's an alt-nonclick. Not a real term, i thought it worked lol
