i get more (and better) comments on my cohost posts than i’ve ever gotten on my twitter post, despite having fewer followers than i did on twitter (i counted for some reason). i feel more free to post whatever comes to my mind on cohost than i did on twitter, since there’s no major fear of “the wrong people” stumbling upon anything i post. funnily enough, i still get better metrics compared to twitter, although i have all of them except comments filtered because seeing them causes me physical pain.
in summary, cohost manages to give me more of the interactions i care about with fewer followers than twitter did, which automatically makes it better. it feels nice to post something and see some people reply and like, have a conversation? idk
