daily knowledge: despite everything, we don't actually know who the inventor of strawberry milk is. what is known, however, is that chocolate milk, the first flavored milk, is widely credited to a man named sir hans sloane, who first learned about chocolate on a trip to jamaica in the 1700s. he was served the traditional cocoa and drink reportedly was too thin skinned to handle it, but ended up really enjoying it upon mixing it with milk. and although im sure plenty of people have made a strawberry flavored milk before nestle introduced it a nesquik flavor in 1960, I don't doubt that this event has a measure impact on its popularity. and lastly, what we do know above all else, is that strawberry milk doesn't come from pink cows.
