i should note, no mice were ever actually killed by this trap that i know of, because it was never manufactured in any capacity outside of that one youtube video recreating it..
the mouse doesn't actually die. but as discussed in the video, the original patent DID mention how this could maybe even be used as a booby trap for human trespassers.
This is something you'd see in the penultimate scene of a Tom and Jerry cartoon.
