i love how the word "person" has five tiers of plurality:
- a person: one person
- persons: several of specific person
- people: several of nonspecific person
- a people: a whole group of person
- peoples: several of a people
you don't get many words like that!
singular and plural of people seems to be different in other languages too
french une personne / les gens
russian человек / люди
bulgarian човек / хора
but not in some
ukrainian людина/люди
