Support Trans Couple After Devastating Loss (GoFundMe)
Hi everyone.
I know I've just been posting my art and rebugging silly things, but offline, this last week a friend of ours and pillar of the local queer community by me was shot. Jean Butchart was an amazing man whose actions showed love and care for anyone he'd meet. Anyone who had the gift of meeting him and knowing him has at least a few stories of how he was always mindful and considerate and showed boundless love through the things he would do. He was a skilled outdoorsman who had appreciation for the world around him. I fear I can't go into detail of some of the stories that have been shared with me about Jean as I'd just choke up. He was a good man, and he was taken too soon.
This GoFundMe is to support James and Asher, Jeans longterm very close friends and roommates. Jean would have been their best man. Jeans family is allowing them to be heavily involved in planning Jeans funeral, enacting his will, and helping the community both grieve our loss of a wonderful friend and celebrate the life he had.
