Prompt; dragon and princess and knight misunderstanding but then theyre All friends later

The knight entered a guard stance, his sword shining in the cave-lair's torchlight. "Beast!" He called. "What have you done with Her Highness?"

The dragon let out a growl... not of hostility, but of a raw, pure, exasperation. "Miguel... Gods, Miguel, you're an idiot sometimes."

"Deplorable beast! How do you know my name? What vile schemes form behind those monstrous eyes of yours? What have you done with Princess Leonora?"

"She's right in front of you."

The knight's eyes scan the room. "An invisibility curse? Is she hidden? I see no cages..."

"Holy shit, Miguel. Are you really that dense?"

Suddenly, the cave mouth is darkened by a second draconic form. A larger dragon, scales pockmarked by age, approaches, a satchel bag slung over a haunch.

Upon seeing the knight, he sighs. With a voice like aged whiskey, he speaks. "Let me guess - a brave and stupid knight of the household?"

The knight turns around, his resolve shaking as he faces two dragons at once. "Another? What? Do you plan on taking the King, too?"

The smaller dragon, her head resting atop her claws in an expression of frustration, growls in affirmation, then chuckles a little - a powerful, rumbling chuckle resonating from her shining snow-white scales.

"Don't tell him. I kinda want him to see how long until he realizes - Miguel always had his heart in the right place, but he really needs to learn to train his perception as much as his sword arm."

The knight wavers.

He's heard those exact words before. From Princess Leonora herself. She looked right at him with those sharp green eyes and that piercing stare...

He looks back at the white-scaled dragon. A piercing stare, sharp green eyes - though the pupils are now slitted and the green is flecked with silver, it's the same gaze.

"P-princess?!"

His sword clatters to the ground.

The big, aged dragon smiles. "Looks like someone figured it out."

Leonora rises to a regal, catlike sitting position, folding her wings behind her. "Heh, yeah, Migs, it's me. Like the new look?"

The knight rushes forward and hugs her foreleg.

"Princess, I'm glad you're safe, but... How? How is this possible?"

"It's a bit hard to explain, but... Sometimes folks just turn out to not be human. If it wasn't for Arrânos sensing my dragon-magic and swooping in to investigate, I might have changed in the castle. And you all would probably have killed me on the spot."

The knight lets go of her leg, and kneels down before his draconic charge. "I am... Glad it hasn't come to that, my lady. But - you have duties, a kingdom -"

"Arrânos here is gonna teach me how to use my new magic and how to shapeshift, so I can come home. I hope I can eventually get people comfortable with this form, though. It feels..." She adjusts her wings and swishes her tail, smiling happily. "Lovely, being like this. Like I've taken off a stuffy corseted dress I didn't know I was wearing."

"I am... Sure the household and the people will come to accept, my lady. If nothing else, my sword is still sworn to you, and always will be."

Leonora smiles. "Loyal as always. I like that about you."

Arrânos, on the other side of the cave, lets out a deep, bellowing laugh.

"The dragon princess and her loyal human knight. Now that's a tale I'd tell my hatchlings."
