22yr old drawman and workman
i like to make things look shiny with css because i love shiny things very much
all done with the batch, now I'm gonna post 1 page a week
It took heckas, but I did it- the batch is complete and now I can hopefully post these out and work on the next chapter so it could be seamless. Its whats ideal, but to play the tape: I'm prolly gonna get caught up again, but I'll always try anyways tho!
I made a new halftone pattern i like and a consistent way to get it to bitmap trace in Inkscape, at first i did it all on one layer like a goofball but now i figured separating them not only makes it possible to trace with a mediocre computer, but also doesn't muddy up the drawing when the tone, hatching, and lineart meets each other. You can sorta see it in this drawing because i didn't bother doing allat...
I made the pattern with my printer that can only print in black and white, and just printed grays from 100 to 5 opacity in increments of five (this is 10)
also used my white color for a light source which I've realized I've neglected to do in the comic uurrg
some kinda big Ls i had today, I first couldn't replicate the sticker layer I got on the real site to this thing, I'm sure I'll figure it out sometime, but I had to post this today and I couldn't figure it out TODAY. and for the other brokie black and white releases on instagram with how little time I had, I couldn't style it the way I wanted it to look, without staying up too late- AND I just looked on the site just to check on things and it seems like the area where the next page would go is behaving incorrectly, it shouldn't even be a link when there's nothing there, I gotta fix it... but I gotta go to sleep cuz its bed time fuck
EDIT: not even 5 minutes later I figured it out I'm going to sleep with a smile on my face night night everyone
