the imposter is literally so cool, and it's an extremely interesting angle to take that i think suits the initial setup well - since in all technicality the first chapter's taking a conflict from the first game and flipping it on its head - not only asking 'what if makoto was completely fanatical with his hope' but also 'what if byakuya was a genuine leader'. the imposter still embodies byakuya's superiority, but i would argue nowhere near as maliciously - very much an embodiment of the phrase 'with great power comes great responsibility', and he absolutely takes that. i wonder why the fandom only ever talks about him to say how underrated he is?
