i think i'd have to replay it all again but i think there's a couple i would rearrange:
-
while chapter 2 of dr1's conflict is just offensive in so many ways, studying it has made me grow slightly more appreciative of what it was clearly trying to do, meanwhile the more i think about the funhouse trial the more annoyed i get. 'strange feeling in tower' is infinitely worse than meat on the bone and again, i do not like the phrase 'missed opportunity' but the chapter's motive is starvation and akane is barely even considered as a potential culprit or given much screentime despite this being one of her worst triggers (not saying i wanted her to have a generic Breakdown but give us something man). sonia doesn't react particularly harshly to gundam being the culprit nor does the game establish a suppression of emotions unless you've already done her FTEs (which also hinders chapter 5 since she very out of nowhere starts fighting HARD for chiaki who uh. she tried to eat her once?). akane's reaction to nekomaru's death coming off the despair disease of the previous chapter is about the only neat thing it did and even that wasn't as strong as it could've been.

i don't know how much higher i'd put it but i probably would rank the 1st trial of dr1 higher -i mean, the trial's carrying the weight of the entire game's expectations on its back and people REALLY underestimate the power of their first trials. earlier trials tend to be more favourable to me because of the variety of voices around the courtroom (which isn't something the later trials can really compensate for since uh, Bitches Gotta Die).
