Got to the end of another Community season 2 rewatch, and god I'd forgotten just how cinematic the season finale, A Fistful of Paintballs/For A Few Paintballs More, is. They took the paintball concept from season 1 and instead of just hashing out a quick sequel, they made it its own, entirely different thing. Not only is it more suspenseful, it draws upon the characters' personalities in some ways that we don't see as often, such as Annie being a badass and Troy actually being good at leadership, and it wraps up the season-long conflict with Pierce and ties it together well with the plot. I'm really glad they didn't go back to the paintball thing every season and try to top this one. The first paintball episode is seen as the pinnacle of season 1 and got a lot of people to watch the show, so it's natural that a second one would happen, and they knocked it out of the park.
