~ On a Steel Horse I Ride ~

I run off of three things: Coffee, love, and motor oil.
Miles Softail, an upbeat cervid with an unquenchable thirst for adventure. He has shaped his life and career around the two-wheeled beasts they love the most. Their typical business routine lies in their own bike shop, a place where Miles repairs ailing bikes or helps customize them to be the smoothest rides they can be. If he's not workin' on 'em, he's ridin' em'. Of course, this is assuming they aren't occupied with their other various hobbies, or spending time with their loved ones and friends.
Extremely affectionate and passionate, Miles can spend hours upon hours talking about the things they love, and the people most important to them. This optimism hasn't gone without critique, however. They are prone to ramble, and sometimes their emotions can be a bit intense. Still, the cervid tries their best despite these shortcomings to be the best person they can be, for their own sake and for the sake of others.

~ Dead or Alive ~
Origins:
First Gear
Miles was born as the youngest son of a herd of fawns, a year apart from their older brother, and two years from their eldest. For most of their younger childhood, Miles kept bonded with their second oldest brother, riding around their part of town on their bicycle, and other things kids their age would do.
Every Saturday morning, Miles and their brother would huddle up around the TV for their favorite show: Masked Grasshopper, the story of a costumed, motorbike-riding super hero devoted to stop the evil Stinger organization. Miles lived for this show, imitating the hero's poses and kicks, much to the chagrin of their mother! Before they knew it, this show they fancied had sparked something in them, one that would soon become their passion and career.
In stark contrast to their current self, the youngest deer was a cautious sort. They did not take risks often, and was lauded by grown-ups for being extremely polite. This conservative nature would be tested, and later broken out of with the help of their brother, though their kind demeanor would remain mostly intact.
Second Gear
Miles's pre-teen years progressed pretty normally. The deer was diligent enough with their studies, just enough to get themself solid B's and B+'s. At age 13, after hours of convincing their mother and a little helping hand from Dad, Miles got themselves a first taste of their future endeavors: a dirt bike! The small, but sturdy Kawasaki would prove a fun outlet to roam around the off beaten, earthy landscapes near their town. It was a thrill unlike anything they had experienced before.
Soon enough, the high school years rolled in. As age had its effect on the family, the dynamic seemed to change. Miles became more self sufficient, slowly integrating themself into a social life, which they had mostly skipped out on in their middle school years.
Third Gear
High school came and went, friendships were made and broken, and Miles came out as a stronger deer because of it. Finally realizing their dream, they successfully earned their motorcycle permit, and later a license! Their first bike came to be a slightly older Honda Rebel. For their first real bike, it ran like a dream, and allowed them to experience that freedom that they longed for all of their life.
Entering college, Miles started their career as an automotives major, learning how to fix up cars and learn more about other various automobiles. On the side, they took up part-time work at a local motorcycle shop. The pay was good, but the true reward of this gig was getting closer with those two-wheeled beauties. The most fun they had there was working on custom projects, anywhere between fine-tuning naked bikes, to customizing rugged choppers.
With enough cash flow to their name, Miles got to work on a little side-project of their own. Over the years, a fondness had grown in them for cruisers, Harleys in particular. Pricey? Yes. A challenge to maintain? Absolutely. These variables and more were prompted to them over the days of contemplating this choice, with justified defense of japanese bikes. Undeterred, the white-tail purchased a pre-owned Softail Standard and got right to work, using the shop they worked at as well as the experience from being there to their advantage. Their resolve was tempered, and admittedly, their time spent on coursework became skewed on occasion.
The end result was, and still remains as, their crowning achievement. Nicknamed 'Gunstar' after one of their favorite video games, the steel beast performs like a dream, and looks cool as hell doing it.
Fourth Gear
It was a long road to take, but Miles would come out on top with a Bachelor's in Automotives, and along with it: certification to operate as a motorcycle repair specialist. With the help of his father and the owner of the shop they worked at, who was now looking into retirement, Miles's aspirations took form; The Iron Buck was open for business! The shop started humbly, with a single small garage where all the magic took place, even the office was in the general area. Overtime, business started to bloom, inevitably expanding the shop to a bigger building, next to the deer's house of residence. Nowadays, Miles is living their best life: doing what he loves to do, and doing a damn good job at it to boot.
Traits
Gearhead
Fixing up things is their forte! While their expertise lies in motorcycle repair, they have a strong sense of problem solving when it comes to machines in general.
Lovebird
Miles is a very lovey-dovey person, especially with romantic interests. They're very much a sap, and will make no attempt in hiding it. They also like hugs, lots of hugs.
Two-Wheeled Artist
A motorcycle is nice, but a bike's even nicer when it's made to be your own. A common job Miles will have at their shop is helping install aftermarket parts, customizing and fine-tuning other people's bikes. Being such an aficionado, they've got quite a few custom bikes to their name.
Marksman
Miles is a competent marksman with a few kinds of firearms: namely handguns and shotguns, with an affinity for the latter. They like to hone their skills at their uncle's firing range or going clay shooting.
