I hate car-centric infrastructure and I get a lot of joy out of driving. I don't feel any shame or dissonance about that.
I love driving. I also love walking, and riding a train, and taking a streetcar/subway, and being on a plane. They should all be options depending on what you're doing, where you're going, and what your individual needs are. I wish cars were one option among many, as opposed to the default.
