the movie theater nearby is always empty on weekdays and has been running all the Ghibli movies for the past few months. Tonight I went with roomies to watch Spirited Away and damn these movies hit different on the big screen!

they did that where we lived while back and it was awesome, we watched many of them there, a lot for the first time. so good
OMSI did a ghibli fest a few years ago and I got to see nausicaa on the big screen with original subs!!! 😭😭😭😭 (Actually came away with a deeper appreciation of the way Alison Lohman VAd the role in the diz dub)
