I am a complete loser for Much Ado, honestly, I could watch it with anyone in it, I will always love it. I even like the Whedon version.
I think the Whedon version actually slaps. His stable of actors are great and when you take away his ability to write dialog he's a totally decent director
also: Much Ado was the first shakespeare play I acted in and I started hanging out with my (future) wife when I directed her in a different production, so it's just... so so dear to me
