on the other hand, collective action has that name for a reason. don't just throw yourself to a position where we're losing numbers for the sake of it, arrests or otherwise

there's a critical mass above which most arrests are prevented, as you've seen with numerous protests as a low hanging fruit example, but yes there needs to be like, tactics and planning for those too.

ALL THAT SAID, on the other hand i 100% heard someone from working families party propose that exact strategy so the trailing edge of progressivism still is stuck there

i always think of red-hand shit when i think of this which is of course one of the dumbest extremes (in a calm and orderly fashion submitting yourselves to the authorities for registration as known dissidents, as an own)
