eclipse reminder, even if you aren't in the direct path check to see if where you are will be in the 90% zone
starts at 2pm est, peaks around 3pm est, ends at 4pm est in Connecticut, that will be different for wherever you are.
if you don't have eclipse glasses check the library, don't look at the eclipsce through sunglasses
Or you can make a pinhole camera with a colander (or even just your fingers making a circle)! It casts a shadow on the ground for an easy, don't have to look at the sun at all method.
We might be too cloudy, but even here with only max 70% coverage it should look like a neat crescent (if the sun is out).
If you have a tree you don’t even need to make your own pinhole camera, the gaps in the leaves will work just fine
