I was going to do a microfiction thing which did a bit with a character learning that vampires are real and having another character be like "You know what a vampire is, right?" "Yes?" "There you go, then" and leaving it at that, but then I remembered that every individual vampire story establishes different rules for how vampires work, and thus "leaving it at that" is a different bit.
