After getting back to sleep, I also had a dream about some kind of movie -- based on an actual movie waking-me saw in a class in high school -- about this squad of soldiers who were out of contact with their own side and had trouble making it home. There was one scene from the movie where they have to avoid a bunch of artillery from their own side because someone read a map wrong; the dream adapted this by having the CO of the squad get out his radio, and said "Blow them the hell up." The dream then proceeded to this whole comedy sequence about the soldiers getting blown up. One part of it was rendered as a cartoon.
